Waking Up In Vegas - Katy Perry

Sorry I went AWOL, I didn't feel like making a tutorial, so HA. But I had spare time today. So. Here's a Katy Perry inspired look. I'm too lazy to write on my photos anymore. Underneath is good enough.
I only have a fewww ideas for tutorials: pink+brown look, silver+purple, and Specktra.net requested a cut crease tutorial so I'll post that here as well, when I get to it.
GIVE. ME. REQUESTS. and Comment. and enjoy.
My lips look crackly and dry, but they're luscious irl.

from left to right (yes I realize the first three look pretty similar.. first is brighter, second is lighter, and third is more opaque..): MAC Silver Fog pigment, silver pigment from NYX, MAC Electra e/s, MAC Scene e/s, MAC Carbon e/s (obviously, any matte black, or any finish black shadow works)
Left to right: MAC 239 for lid, MAC 217 for crease, MAC 219 for underneath.

Apply your base(s). I used Painterly Paint Pot, as usual, and stuck a little bit of Bare Study Paint Pot in the centre because its sparkly.

You can probably see some sparkles here, that was a mistake, haha. Ignore the sparkles all over the place throughout the tutorial..
Here I applied the silver NYX pigment on the inner half of my lid.
Picture missing! I had applied Silver Fog pigment all over my lid.
then: Electra e/s on the second half of my lid/in the crease.

In the crease: Scene e/s.
In the crease: Carbon e/s.
On my lower lashline, I applied Scene e/s and a bit of Carbon e/s at the very outside edges. I put a white kohl liner (MAC Fascinating Eye Kohl) on the waterline.
Apply top liner if you like to; mascara (I used Almey One Coat Nourishing Mascara on the bases of my lashes, and then Maybelline Stiletto overtop) Clean up the fallout, and the eyes are done.
For the lips, I dotted a red lipstick lightly on my lips and smudged to give them a little bit of colour. Then, I patted a bit of Orange eyeshadow on top to give it a bit more of an orange look, and mixed it with the lipstick by pressing my lips together. In the music video, Katy Perry wears a much brighter orange lipstick, but I don't have one, and that may be difficult for some people to pull off.

If there are any other music videos with makeup that somebody wants me to recreate, definitely request it because that would be super fun.

Shimmery Brown with a Pink Lip

This is great for making you look awake, fresh and put-together.

products and tools:
Fascinating and Teddy eye kohls, eyeshadows in Shroom, Soft Brown, Espresso, and Copperplate (not shown in steps, optional for lower lashline), Pink Bouquet lip liner, Speak Louder lipstick and Slicked Pink Lip gelee. All products are by MAC, except for Pink Bouquet Lip Liner from Avon.

The same brushes that were used for the purple look were also used for this look, and for the same uses: lid colour, highlight, smudging, crease colour, blending, liner.

Start by priming your lids:
Apply and blend Teddy eye kohl, or any brown eyeliner, above upper lash line.
Apply Shroom eyeshadow to inner half of lid and under brow bone.
Apply Soft Brown eyeshadow on outer half of lid, crease and slightly above.
Espresso eyeshadow in crease.
Apply white eyeliner on lower waterline.
Add Mascara, a little bit of brown on lower lashline if you'd like, and you're done! Vo

For the finishing touch, add your favourite pink lipstick.
If you'd like to see anything specific as a tutorial, I need requests!

Purple Smokey Eye

My first picture tutorial! wooooott! Any suggestions of what I could include that I haven't, tutorials you'd like to see, things I could do differently, etc, would be awesome.
Here's what we're doing:

Products and tools:MAC Painterly Paint Pot as base, MAC Smolder Eye Kohl, NYX Eyeshadow in "Prune", MAC eyeshadows in Fig. 1, Purple Haze, and Beautiful Iris (as inner corner highlight, not shown in steps, because it's optional)
Uses in order: lid colour, highlight, smudging, outer corner, blending, eyeliner.

Apply your base, and then black eyeliner just above your upper lashline.

Smudge!

Apply NYX "Prune" eyeshadow along the liner and inner corner.
MAC Fig. 1 eyeshadow in a "V" shape in your outer corner (along lash line, and in the crease).

MAC Purple Haze eyeshadow on the inner half of the lid, blending in with Prune and Fig. 1.

MAC Blacktrack Fluidline along lower waterline. Pull it down slightly at the outer corners.

Apply Prune along lower lid. Apply a highlight on your brow bone and an inner corner highlight if you want to, apply mascara, clean up any fallout, andddd you're done!

Hello

My name is Chelsea and some people have requested makeup tutorials from me. I am far too shy to make a video, and I don't have any software to put together pictures for a video, so I decided this might be the best approach. I have a short list of tutorials to start off with, but anybody can request whatever they would like anywhere in this blog and I'll get to it as soon as I can.
I hope whoever ends up seeing this blog enjoys the tutorials and whatever else may come of this.
